BOTH ENDS OF THE PRIVATE ROAD WERE BLOCKED BY POLICE, BUT CANON COLLINS, CHAIRMAN OF THE CAMPAIGN, WAS ALLOWED THROUGH TO DELIVER A LETTER CALLING ON MR. KHRUSHCHEV TO JUSTIFY THE EXPLOSION OF THE BIG BOMB. HE SPENT 35 MINUTES WITH THE RUSSIAN CHARGE D' AFFAIRES, AND WAS TOLD THE LETTER WOULD BE FORWARDED TO MR. KHRUSHCHEV.
