Background: A special exhibition of works by the Singapore artist, Lai Kui-Fang, has opened in Paris. The exhibition includes many of the better-known works of this extremely prolific artist.
Lai Kui-Fang is a Knight of the French order of Arts and Letters and he also holds the Grand Silver Medal of the City of Paris.
So great has been his production of portraits that he has been able to exhibit simultaneously in the biggest national and international exhibitions.
Lai Kui-Fang's exhibitions have won him numerous medals and diplomas. He now holds over 40 decorations. He has also restored many ancient paintings and made remarkable copies of masterpieces belonging to the Louvre Museum in Paris.
