    India's Premier Nehru and President Ayub Khan of Pakistan conferred for 85 minutes at the President's House in Karachi, Sept 20, before leaving for the Himalayan summer resort of Murree, where they will continue their talks on Indo-Pakistani relations for two days.

    Following the signing of the Indus water agreement, the two statement discussed outstanding financial problems, leakage of foreign exchange from either country, differences over evacuee property, and matters connected with the relaxation of travel restrictions.

    Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Manzur Qadir, said the meeting was "very friendly" and the atmosphere "most cordial".

    Later, President Ayub Khan and Prime Minister Nehru flew to Rawalpindi, West Pakistan, by special plane and then drove to Murree.
