    The "Permanent Committee of the Anti-Colonialism Conference" met in Cairo May 27 - 30 discuss the general political situation and the "colonialist currents prevailing in this area."
    The committee, which includes Mr. Fins Brodway, Labour M.P.; Mr. Lasuo, Italian M.P., Mohamed el-Arabi members of the Algerian Rebel Government; delegates from the U.A.R., Greece, Jordan and other Arab countries, also prepared a final appeal addressed to the countries of the world as well as local and international organizations.

    The opening speech was made by Mr. Anwar El Sadat, of the U.A.R. He was followed by Another U.A.R. member Salah Abdel Hafiz.

    Anwar El-Sadat said in his speech "It is superfluous to say that the countries around the Mediterranean and those of the Middle East are the first on which controversial international policy revolves today. It is the actual region in which is staged the real struggle among the lustful exponents of colonialism. It is therefore our duty as peoples of the Middle East to readjust our position and to ensure our future
