Background: The Malaysian Prime Minister, tun Abdul Rasak, began a three-day official visit to Indonesia today (Thursday).
President Suharto led the welcoming party at Djakarta airport which also included the Indonesian Foreign Minister, Mr. Adam Malik, and Governor Sadikin of Djakarta.
It is Tun Razak's first visit to Indonesia since becoming Prime Minister last September. Earlier this week he visited another of Malaysia's neighbours - Thailand.
Tun Razak is expected to brief Indonesian leaders on Malaysian foreign policy and his proposal for a neutral South-east Asia guaranteed by China and the other big world powers.
