    H.E. the Chief Executive and Mrs. Franco are warmly greeted by the record crowd which fills the Stadium, as they appear to preside the great Music & Song Exhibition celebrated by the Syndical Association "Education & Rest" on the occasion of the festivity of St. Joseph.

    The different groups with their gorgeous and showy regional costumes make their way to the 18 platforms erected in the playing ground of the Stadium, where they are going to perform. This festival is an exponent of the work done in pro of the humane development of the workers by the Syndical Organization.

    Workers from all parts of Spain gather here bringing with them the fragrance of ancient popular music and traditional dances, carefully rehearsed after their daily work in order to attain a perfect execution true to old patterns and standards.

    One hundred ten groups of singers and dancers, totalling ten thousand workers, parade on their way to the platforms which are to serve as stages. Something like a human map, rhythmical and graceful, expressing the spirit and character of different zones, towns and villages.

    In this festivity of St. Joseph Artisan, the workers bring the joyful message of their art and a sample of human beauty and solidarity ... These are the people of Spain, who dance and sing, after their daily task ...
