TRANSCRIPT: SEQ. 2: MR. SAFO-ADU: "I should like to place on record my innocent horror and bewilderment at the past spectacle of a great continent like Africa, with immense potentiality and resource, both men and material, going cap in hand begging for food, which it can easily grow herself, while her accredited leaders meanwhile engage in sterile but animated political and factional disputations, which impress nobody else but themselves. There is a crying hunger in our cities, and our villages, and we should stop politicking and theorising for a moment to be able to listen, Mr. Chairman. My Government in Ghana is determined to feed the hungry in our cities and villages, and to feed them on wholesome, full diets."
