    AT THE ULSTER GRAND PRIX IN BELFAST TODAY (SATURDAY) NEW ZEALAND'S HUGH ANDERSON, THE 1963 CHAMPION, RIDING A SUZUKI WON HIS THIRD 125 c.c. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RACE THIS SEASON AT A RECORD AVERAGE SPEED OF 91.53 MPH (147.30 KPH). THIS ADDED SOME 4 MPH (6.43 KPH) TO THE PREVIOUS BEST, AND WAS FASTER THAN ALL THE RIDERS IN THE 350 c.c. RACE - EXCEPT REDMAN OF SOUTHERN RHODESIA.

    LUIGI TAVERI, OF SWITZERLAND, RIDING A HONDA, CAME SECOND TO STRENGTHEN HIS LEAD IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TABLE.

    JIM REDMAN CLINCHED THE 350 c.c. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN SUCCESSION WHEN HE WON THE EVENT TODAY.

    HE HAS NOW WON ALL FIVE OF THIS SEASON'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RACES SO FAR. WITH ONLY A RIDER'S BEST FIVE PERFORMANCES COUNTING OUT OF THE EIGHT EVENTS, HE HAS RECENTLY SCORED A MAXIMUM 40 POINTS.

    REDMAN LED FROM THE START AND COMPLETED THE 17 LAPS TOTALLING 126 MILES (202.77 KILOMETRES) IN 1 HOUR 20 MINUTES 37.6 SECONDS, AT A RECORD AVERAGE SPEED OF 93.82 MPH (150.98 KPH). REDMAN'S FASTEST LAP OF 4 MINUTES 37.8 SECONDS, AVERAGE 96.10 MPH (154.65 KPH) WAS ALSO RECORD FOR THE CIRCUIT.
