    A goodwill mission from the self-proclaimed Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam has been paying a three-day visit to Uganda.

    It is a three-man mission headed by Mr. Le Quang Chanh, deputy Minster of Foreign Affairs in the Provisional Government. He is accompanied by Mr. Le Anh Kiet, Secretary at the provisional Foreign Ministry, and Mr. Nguyen Ky Nam, another provisional ministry official.

    During their stay in Uganda, the visitors were accompanied by the Chief of Protocol at the Ugandan Foreign Ministry, Mr. Paul Muwanga. At a press conference n the Apolo Hotel, Kampala, on Saturday Mr. Le Quang Chanh said that in their struggle against United States forces in South Vietnam, the Vietnamese people enjoyed support from the Government and people of Uganda. The Vietnamese people, he added, fully supported the Ugandan people in their struggle to safeguard and consolidate national independence, build a prosperous country and preserve peace in Africa and the World; for their own part they tried their best to contribute to the cause of the people of the world struggling for independence, democracy, peace and social progress.
