Background: April the Fifth is the "SEEPING TOMBS DAY" for the Chinese people. This Day is also called Ching Ming Which has became a national Holiday only last year.
During the Tombs Sweeping Holiday, By tradition, family members congregate to clean ancestral tombs and pay respect to departed. Chinese society today is still very much a Confucian society in which our progenitors are sincerely respected. We belive in family solidanity and remenbrance of those who have gone before are the cornerstones of Our civilization.
The Ching-Ming memorial practice can be dated is for bach as the Tang Dynasty. Today, this festive occassion is still observed by chinese and the spirit of Ching-Ming is as strong as ever.
