Background: A special crime squad was formed in New York on Thursday (27 Jan) to track down those responsible for fire-bombing the offices of impresario, Mr. Sol Hurok.
Mr. Hurok is a noted importer of Soviet entertainers.
The bombing occurred on Wednesday (26 Jan), killing a secretary and injuring thirteen people, including 83-year-old Mr. Hurok himself.
About the time of the bombing, anonymous callers telephoned news organizations in New York with the message "cultural bridges will not be built over the bodies of Soviet Jews, Never Again".
"Never Again" is a phrase used by the militant Jewish Defence League -- but a spokesman has denied responsibility for the bombings.
