    The U.S. "Medicare" program starts in July. Republicans fear the program will be bogged down by excessive red tape -- lots of paper work. The federal government is trying to avoid this problem. Correspondent Bob Abernathy explains what is being done.

    To be eligible for "Medicare" a U.S. citizen must 65 or older. The American Medical Association -- the leading physicians organisation in the U.S. - is having some trouble getting all of its members to comply with the federal government's medicare program.
