    Background: The Friends of Jamaica today (Saturday) gathered at the Commonwealth Institute in London for the presentation of a bust of former Jamaican Prime Minister, Sir Alexander Bustamente, to the Institute.

    The bust was commissioned by the Friends of Jamaica from sculptor Errol Lloyd, himself a Jamaican.

    The presentation to the Commonwealth Institute was made by the Governor General of Jamaica, Sir Clifford Campbell.

    Among the personalities at the ceremony were Mr. V. Durham, President of the Friends of Jamaica; Mr. C. A. Laws, the chairman: secretary, Mr. Francis and Madge O'Meally, from the Ministry of Education, Kingston. Two ladies from Sierra Leone, Countess Hanna Caulker and Mrs. Queenie Duchess of Panguma were also present.

    A bouquet was presented to Lady Campbell.
