  • Description

Wu Ming State Farm by returned overseas Chinese in Kwangsi Chuang People's Autonomous Region, was established in 1960. With help and concern from the state in the past few years, it has become one of the biggest state farms of overseas Chinese.

Mechanization has developed rapidly owing to strong state support. The farms 43 tractors and 20 trucks bring 4,000 hectares of land under mechanized cultivation.

Thousands of overseas Chinese who returned from Indonesia in 1960 have made remarkable contributions to the farm's development. The grain yield last year went up 77% as compared with 1960.

The staffs and workers of the farm know no bound in their ardent love for Chairman Mao Tse-tung and take Chairman Mao's Works as the moving force of their progress. They say: ' man without Mao Tse-tung's thinking is like seedlings without sunshine and rain.'
The cultivation of economic crops has been developed rapidly during the past few years.

Fruit tress planted a few years ago have already grown quite big.

Returned overseas Chinese on the farm enjoy the warm concern of the Chinese Communist Party.

Many new villages have appeared, enabling all families to move into bright and spacious homes. A happy life is secured for all.

They closely follow current events both at home and abroad especially the persecution of Chinese nationals in Indonesia.

They sternly denounce the towering crimes committed by the Indonesian reactionary right-wing forces in frantically persecuting Chinese nationals.

Huang Chung Kwei indignantly accuse the Indonesian reactionary right-wing forces for burning Huang Chung-qui, his cousin to death alive with gasoline, simply because he refused to be insulted. This debt of blood will not be forgotten, he says, and will be repaid in kind.

The staffs and workers of the farm are resolved to hold aloft the red banner of Mao Tse-tung's thinking even higher in order to run the farm still better and to make still greater contributions to the great cause of China's Socialist construction.
