Background: A funeral ceremony was held in Damascus on Saturday (13th October) for two members of the United Nations killed in the first wave of Israeli bombing over Syria.

A United Nations truck bearing the bodies of two of those killed was driven to the U.N. headquarters in Damascus where a brief ceremony was held, with prayers in English and Swedish.

There's still confusion about the number of foreigners killed in Damascus, although it's known at least four people connected with the United Nations -- there Norwegians and one Indian -- have died in the Israeli air raids.

In the Mazzo quarter of the ancient city many concrete buildings have been reduced to rubble since the bombing began on Tuesday (9th October).
