    AT A CEREMONY IN RENDSBURG, THE "DEUTSCHLAND" WAS FORMALLY COMMISSIONED AFTER AN INSPECTION BY ADMIRAL ZENKER.WITH A CREW OF 270 OFFICERS AND MEN, THE WEST GERMAN FRIGATE IS FITTED WITH FOUR 100 MILLIMETRE SINGLE-TURRET GUNS AND ALSO CARRIES ANTI-SUBMARINE WEAPONS.FOUR DIESEL ENGINES GIVE HER A SPEED OF 20 KNOTS.A SPECIAL FEATURE IS THE LARGE NUMBER OF LECTURE ROOMS, INCLUDING ONE EQUIPPED AS A FILM THEATRE.
