    AT THE SAME TIME, MR. ABBA EBAN, ISRAEL'S FOREIGN MINISTER, STOPPED OFF IN LONDON FOR A SHORT STAY ENROUTE FOR WASHINGTON FOR TALKS WITH THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT ON THE MIDDLE EAST CRISIS. IT IS NOT EXPECTED THAT HE WILL MEET WITH BRITISH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS.

    DR. FAWZY'S FIRST OFFICIAL MEETING WAS HELD TODAY (MONDAY) WITH DR. GORONWY ROBERTS, BRITAIN'S MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS, WHO DEALS WITH MIDDLE EAST PROBLEMS AND WHO RECENTLY MET PRESIDENT NASSER IN CAIRO.

    THE EGYPTIAN DIPLOMAT'S TALKS HERE COINCIDE WITH THE RENEWED DIPLOMATIC EFFORTS BY THE "BIG FOUR" (THE U. S. A., THE SOVIET UNION, BRITAIN AND FRANCE) TO TRY AND GIVE FURTHER HELP TO THE MISSION OF DR. GUNNAR JARRING, THE UNITED NATIONS' MIDDLE EAST PEACE ENVOY.

    DR. FAWZY ARRIVED IN LONDON FROM PARIS WHERE HE HELD SIMILAR TALKS WITH MEMBERS OF THE FRENCH GOVERNMENT AND HE IS DUE TO LEAVE FOR MADRID ON WEDNESDAY (MARCH 12).

    THE ISRAELI FOREIGN MINISTER, MR. ABBA EBAN, ARRIVED ON SUNDAY (MARCH 9) BEFORE CONTINUING FOR WASHINGTON TODAY. ON ARRIVAL AT LONDON AIRPORT HE SPOKE TO REPORTERS:
