    THE PARADE WAS FOR 570 NATIONAL SERVICEMEN PASSING-OUT AFTER COMPLETING THEIR TERMS OF SERVICE.

    ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE OF THE RULING PARTY WERE ALSO INVITED, AND THE PARADE WAS ATTENDED BY SEVERAL GOVERNMENT MINISTERS AND OFFICIALS.

    AFTER THE PARADE FIVE MEMBERS OF THE PASSING-OUT GROUP WERE PRESENTED WITH CERTIFICATES OF MERIT. ONE OF THE FIVE WAS AN INDIAN GIRL.

    THE MOTO MOTO (MEANING HOT HOT) CONTINGENT WAS JUDGED THE BEST GROUP FROM THE SERVICEMEN PASSING-OUT. PRESIDENT NYERERE AWARDED THEM A TROPHY FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE.

    AFTER THE CEREMONY, THE PRESIDENT ANSWERED QUESTIONS SUBMITTED BY MEMBERS OF THE PASSING-OUT GROUP.
