  • Description

"You are never too old for happiness", is the motto of ninety-nine year old Boer War veteran Bill Norman. Bill and seventy-four year old Mrs. May Walker were married at St. Barnabas Church, Seaford, Melbourne, Australia, Oct. 20. Both bride and bridegroom had been married twice before.

The romance started at a social function at the Frankston War Veteran's Home, where Bill lives. The Superintendent of the Home was best man.

After the quiet ceremony, performed by Reverend A.G. Church, the newly married 'veterans' drove off to a wedding reception among their friends at the Home.
