MOTOCROSS SERIES. HOWEVER HE JUST FAILED TO CATCH SWEDEN'S STEN LUNDIN IN THE BATTLE FOR SECOND PLACE IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

    LUNDIN, WELL BEATEN IN THE FIRST RACE, SMASHED HIS GEARBOX IN THE SECOND EVENT, BUT KEPT GOING TO BEAT HIS FELLOW COUNTRYMAN PERSSON INTO THIRD PLACE.

    THE MOTO-CROSS IS RUN OVER TWO RACES, OUR FILM SHOWS THE SECOND. JEFF SMITH, NUMBER 29, RIDING A B.S.A. CAME FIRST. STEN LUNDIN, NUMBER 24, RIDING A LITO, CAME SECOND, AND PERSSON, NUMBER 27, ALSO RIDING A LITO, CAME THIRD.
