THEY WERE MADE FROM A VARIETY OF MATERIALS, AND INCLUDED MINK AND OTHER FURS. FASHIONS CRITICS, HOWEVER, DESCRIBED THE CLOTHES AS VERY CONSERVATIVE IN COLOUR AND DESIGN.

    THE FASHION SHOW WAS CONDUCTED BY MADAME VALA LINDA, WHO RUNS A FASHION ACADEMY IN RIGA, LATVIA. SHE BROUGHT WITH HER NINE MODELS - ALL BLONDES AND BETWEEN 17 AND 28 YEARS OF AGE. SHE SAID RUSSIA HAS ABOUT 120 KINDS OF SUITS, AND WHAT SHE WAS SHOWING IN TOKYO WHERE THE MOST POPULAR HOME DRESSES. SHE ALSO HAD A FEW EVENING AND AFTERNOON DRESSES AND MINK COATS.

    THE ACCESSORIES FOR THE MODELS WERE DESCRIBED AS BEING SOMEWHAT UNINSPIRED.
