Background: The agricultural expert meeting of Asian nine countries, held in Seoul Korea under the sponsorship of AID and the Korean Agriculture Forestry Ministry today. In this meeting 54 delegate and advisors from Cambodia, Japan, Laos, the Philippines, Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan, Thailand Vietnam, and the Republic of Korea will participate and discuss agricultural situations and exchange helpful informations to promote better management of Asian agricultural area.
This meeting will end 23rd of this month and during the meeting day delegates and advisors will visit local farming area of Korea and will see Korean farming expert instructing new methods to local farmers and managing new system in Korea.
This meeting is fourth International conference of the Far East Agricultural Extension Workshop and first of its kind opened in Korea.
In the opening ceremony congratulatory message of Prime Minister delivered by the Gen Kim Buyung Sam director of General affair in Military government of Korea said "Our countries in the Far Eastern area have shared similar histories We, who in the past enjoined advanced cultures, are today doing our outmost to over come our underdeveloped status."
This meeting will continue two weeks and many problem concerning the agricultural development of Asian undeveloped countries will be discussed during the cession.
