Mr. Bradshaw SCU I have been asked to tell you about my new engine in as few words as possible. It is called 'omega' because I hope it is going to be the last word. It has only nine moving parts no valve gear and the valve mechanism. But the main thing in the whole engine is that we get rid of the frictional losses which amount to 25 to 30% in all engines because they are running at such high rates.
SCU But is difficult to explain all these things so I have produced a small working model.
CU The pistons oscillate to and fro between gas pressures like this and for example is the sparking plug coming to the top of a stroke there. It is then expands these two pistons comes down here and throws them apart, comes down here and throws them back again, and here and so on time after time after time. But there is the inlet port and that is the exhaust port. So there are no valves Camshafts or anything and that is the only engine and this is 65 horse power.
