The Indonesian Foreign Minister, Dr. Adam Malik, speaking in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, has called for an early release of Pakistani prisoners of war held in India.
Dr. Malik arrived at Islamabad on Sunday (28 May) leading his country's delegation to the fourth indonesia-Pakistan ministerial council meeting on Economic and Cultural Co-operation.
Dr. Malik, accompanied on the visit by Mrs. Malik, is shown in this official film being met at the airport by the Pakistan Minister for Political Affairs, Mr. Ghulem Jatoi, and high-ranking diplomatic and embassy officials.
A guard a honour was provided by a contingent of Indonesian children.
Speaking to newsmen, Dr. Malik said he hoped Pakistan's relations with Indonesia and other Muslim countries would be strengthened.
Later, he called on President Bhutto at the President's house in Rawalpindi. There the two discussed increased co-operation between their two countries.

There they discussed increased co-operation between their two countries, and developments in Indonesia's offer to mediate in the Pakistan-Bangladesh differences.
