"Accordingly, international peace and security will continue to be vulnerable as long as the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people and the people of Zimbabwe, Mamibia ... (indistinct) ... are denied and ignored. It is the responsibility of the Security Council to maintain international peace and security. In doing so, it is incumbent upon the Council to take the necessary immediate steps in order to put the recommendations of the Committee into ample action. In this context, emanating from the spirit of close co-operation with the United Nations and due to its adherence to the principles of maintaining peace and security, the Arab League would like to confirm its willingness to co-operate fully with the Security Council in order to restore the inalienable rights of the .....

Background: Jordan has told the United Nations Security Council that Palestinian self-determination must be exercised within Palestine itself. Jordanian Ambassador, Abdul Hamid Sharaf, told the council, Israel could not escape its responsibility for displacing so many Palestinians and occupying Palestinian territory by trying to force them to seek an alternative homeland.
