  • Description

Yugoslav Vice President Rato Dugonjic has left Morocco (July 3) after a three day visit during which he had talks with King Hassan and the Moroccan Government. The discussions centred mainly around the role of non-aligned nations, in the light of the approaching non-aligned summit meeting due to take place in Algiers in September.

Mr. Dugonjic said shortly before his departure for Mauritania that he was 'entirely satisfied' with the results of his talks: Moroccan and Yugoslav had been 'very close if not identical' on major issues.

In a joint communique both countries declared that a solution to the Middle East conflict would be 'neither just nor durable' if such a solution did not take into account 'respect for the legitimate and undeniable rights of the Palestinian people and the evacuation of all occupied Arab territories'.
