    AT TERENDAK CAMP, 13 MILES FROM MALACCA, ON THE WEST COAST OF MALAYA, MEN OF THE 26TH REGIMENT, ROYAL ARTILLERY AND 2ND BATTALION, THE ROYAL AUSTRALIAN REGIMENT BADE AN OFFICIAL FAREWELL TO THE 28TH COMMONWEALTH INFANTRY BRIGADE GROUP, OF WHICH THEY HAD BEEN A PART FOR SOMETIME.

    IN PARTICULAR, THE MEN OF THE 26TH REGIMENT WERE SAYING GOODBYE TO 103 BATTERY, ROYAL AUSTRALIAN ARTILLERY, WHICH HAD BEEN INTEGRATED WITH THE REGIMENT DURING ITS STAY IN MALACCA.

    THE AUSTRALIAN BATTERY WILL STAY BEHIND AND FORM PART OF THE 45TH REGIMENT, ROYAL ARTILLERY, WHICH IS REPLACING THE 26TH.THE VEHICLES AND GUNS OF THE 26TH REGIMENT DROVE PAST BRIGADIER BOB DAWSON, COMMANDER OF THE 28TH COMMONWEALTH INFANTRY BRIGADE AND THE GOVERNOR OF MALACCA, MR.HAJI MALEK BIN TUSUF.
