    Ivory Coast's points came from six trys, three of them converted. Ghana's three points came from a try by Berjoan.

    The President of the Ivory Coast Rugby Federation, Mr. Gervais Coffie, attended the match. Other officials present included the British Ambassador, Mr. Leslie Murray, and the Ivory Coast's Minister of Animal Production, Mr. Diko Garba.

    The game was fast and Ivory Coast delighted the home crowd with same fine attacking rugby.
