    MR. DEAN RUSK WAS GIVEN A ROUSING SEND OFF BY VIETNAMESE PREMIER, MAJOR-GENERAL NGUYEN KHANH, AMERICAN AMBASSADOR HENRY CABOT LODGE AND OTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS.

    IN AN AIRPORT STATEMENT, HE SAID THE UNITED STATES WOULD REMAIN AT SOUTH VIETNAM'S SIDE "UNTIL AGGRESSION FROM THE NORTH HAS BEEN DEFEATED -- UNTIL IT HAD BEEN COMPLETELY ROOTED OUT."
    THE SECRETARY OF STATED SAID THAT HE HAD DISCUSSED WITH PREMIER NGUYEN KHANH, "VARIOUS WAYS IN WHICH OUR ASSISTANCE CAN BE STRENGTHENED."
