    A Palestinian woman, released in the historic Palestine-Israeli prisoner exchange in Geneva in March has been talking about her imprisonment in Israel. Ayseh Odeh, from the Ramallah district, says the Israelis used torture to obtain confessions from jailed Palestinians.

    SYNOPSIS: Ayseh Odeh told newsmen at her press conference that she was captured in May, 1969. She was released in the Geneva exchange arranged by the International Red Cross. And she says as a result of her ten years in prison she is now suffering from many illnesses, including malnutrition, a heart condition and a weak spinal cord.

    Ayseh Odeh said the medical treatment given to prisoners by Israeli officials was very poor. She now intends to give evidence about her imprisonment to the Human Rights Commission in Geneva.
