    Zambian Foreign Minister Elijah Mudenda at a press conference in Lusaka on Friday spoke of increased financial support being available in future from O.A.U. states to support liberation movements in countries such as South Africa and Mozambique.

    Mr Mudenda had just returned, with President Kaunda, from the O.A.U. conference which ended in Addis Ababa on June 23rd.

    The conference adopted a declaration which rejected the possibility of what was described as a "meaningful dialogue with South Africa."
    The voting was 28 in favour of the declaration, six against, and five abstentions. Those against were the Ivory Coast, Lesotho, Malawi, Madagascar, Gabon and Mauritius.

    Those who abstained were Niger, Togo, Dahomey, Upper Volta, and Swaziland.
