SV Strong speaking. "One day last week the British Air Force had a field day. The press reported 185 planes shot down, the actual count was 192. I believe the British figures are essentially correct. I found no case where reports were made where planes could not actually be produced to substantiate those reports. If errors are made it's on the conservative side."
"As a result of our observations in England I am firmly convinced that this is no quick peace in prospect. The war will be long drawn out and will be determined not in the immediate future but some time next year or the year after."
