    IN A TELEVISION INTERVIEW YESTERDAY, MR SHASTRI SAID: "THE CONFLICT MAKES ME SAD. IT IS BOUND TO CAUSE HARDSHIP AND SUFFERING TO THE PEOPLE OF BOTH COUNTRIES." HOWEVER, HE ADDED: "BUT THE COUNTRY'S FREEDOM AND TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY STAND ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE AND THEY HAVE TO BE DEFEND WITH ALL OUR MIGHT.
