  • Description

Three Canadians have set sail from Vancouver bound for Hawaii in a 40 feet long (12 metres), dug-out canoe. The expedition leader, Mr. Geordie Tocher, says if they successfully cross the Pacific Ocean it would give weight to a theory that British Columbian Indians could have made the trip 1,400 years ago. This report from Jerry Thomson of C.B.C. News.
