The British Ambassador was received at the Palace by EL Sayed Salah El Shahid, First Chamberlain - El Sayed Salah El Shahed accompanied Sir BEELEY to a reception room attached to the office of President NASSER where he presented his credentials to the President.

The ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister Dr. Mahmoud Fawzy. El Sayed Aly Sabry, Minister for Presidential Affairs and Major-General Rashad Hassan, Grand Chamberlain.

After presenting his Credentials, Sir BEELEY introduced members of the embassy staff to President NASSER.
