McKeever speaks. "The representatives of the four powers have reached agreement
on all the main questions of principle. There are certain details which are
still being discussed, but it can be said specifically that agreement has been
reached that all of the restrictions imposed on Germany, which have been the
subject of the conversations, will be mutually lifted, After an interval, a
meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers will be held. The Council, who have
considered questions relating to Germany, and the problems arising out of the
situation in Berlin including the question of currency in Berlin. The four
representatives are hopeful that the remaining matters of detail can be adjusted
in a very short period of time."
