Background: "97 ex-terrorists put recently in freedom thank to the Province Government the clemency way and affirm their integration and their fidelity to the Governmental program to built a better Guinee".
Following a politic of tolerance and opening to the participation of all Guinee's people to built its own future that we make this inscription of the freedom, more 97 elements who made part of the "African politic group for freedom of Guinee an "Cabo-Verde"(PAIGC)."
Policy made under the Marxist's shapes and throwed by Russia, whose strategic of dominion of the Cape's way gives great importance to Guinee and "Cabo-Verde" islands.
Those ex-terrorists, infiltrated in Portuguese territory of Guinea coming from their bases in the Republic of Guinea and Senegal, they were captured by the Portuguese Forces and they were making legal condemnations for having ruled and executed armed-actions against no armed people.
The act of clemency for these 97 ex-"guerilleros" of PAIGC it's not inedited, but a new edition of same rules that Government, since some time ago, come regularly decreeing and by which more than 3 thousands of ex-terrorists were already the beneficiaries.
Elements who are now free from the subjugation and the publicity of the political group, and contacting with the work made by the Government and in which they see their wished of progress and promotion, they fighted now they are completely put in the political program, where they are the most enthusiastic partners. The pictures are showing us the special moment of thanks from the free-people to the Portuguese Guinee's Governor, General Antonio de Spinola.
Speaking in the name of all, two of the ex-elements of the PAIGC, a "guerillero" and an important chief, they thank very much to the Governor his attitude, and they promised his future fidelity Government's program, which interprets and concretes really his own wishes and all Guinee's people ones. Rafael Barbosa, ex-president of the central Committee of PAIGC, one of those free-people last year, assured to the General SPINOLA, "by right of life-experience and by necessity to compensate the long time of wrong activity" that "they were true the thanks' manifestations and also true the future promisings expressed by the recently free-people".
his Government is following, and forgetting passed aversions to go on with a better future where all Guinee's sons make part integrated in the superior administration-board and of the legislative organs, defined in these next words his attitude:
"- It's in this way of thinking that we put the Government's decision, increase the returning to their families, ancients-militants of the PAIGC, which, suggested by false promises, thought to battle by the people's ideal. For these and all those consciently want to follow us to built a better future, we'll go on receiving them, tenderly, giving to them a complete liberty to make part of the various works for the progress of their country".
At the end, the free-people acclaimed, hotly, the Governor, to whom they shake hands, personally.
