Background: At the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London, New Zealander Onny Parun on Wednesday (28 June) completed a five-set match to beat the fourth-seeded Spaniard Andres Gimeno in the second round. The match among the most exciting at Wimbledon this year - was interrupted by rain the previous evening when the two men had each won two sets, and were even in the fifth set.
On Wednesday it took Parun only ten minutes to complete the match.
Parun attracted attention at Wimbledon last year when he got through the quarter-finals of the tournament. He's 25 years old, lives in the New Zealand capital, Wellington and it the New Zealand Men's Singles Champion.
