Background: In North Vietnam's Thanh Hoa Province, the harvesting of an excellent crop of early rice is underway in Nam Ngoc County. The good crop is a fruit of the revolutionary spirit of self reliance displayed in the struggle against U.S. aggression and for national salvation by members of agricultural cooperatives.

In the forefront of the struggle against the U.S. imperialists, members of the Dai Phong Agricultural Coop of Quang Binh Province are going all out to reap a good crop of early rice as their contribution to the struggle against U.S. aggression and to save the country.
In recent years, the members of this coop have proved outstanding both in the cooperative movement and production. Their good work has ranked them among one of the advanced agricultural units in North Vietnam.
This year's bumper early-rice harvest was secured by effective measure to cope with natural adversities under circumstances of the war against U.S. bandits.
