    The astronaut crews of Americans experimental space station project, "Skylab" held a news conference in Houston Texas on Wednesday (19 Jan.) to talk about the project and their respective mission.

    The first Skylab station will be launched in April 1973 and remain in orbit for 28 days.

    The 2,000 million-dollar programme will use modified Apollo rockets and spacecrafts, and will be the first United States space mission project to use astronaut scientists.

    Apollo 12 astronaut Charles Conrad, who will command the first manned mission, outlined the objectives of the programme to newsmen.
