    A.R. Evans of New South Wales, Australia, the "Coast Watcher" who rescued President Kennedy after his P-T boat was rammed and sunk by a Japanese destroyer in World War Two, visited President Kennedy at the White House May 1.

    Evans brought to President Kennedy a painting of his canoe landing which was presented to the President by Cavalier Magazine which will carry the story of the Evans rescue.
