  • Description

President Felix Houphoust-Boigny of the Republic of the Ivory Coast - a former French territory in Africa - flew into Paris June 7 for a three-day official visit and was warmly greeted at Orly Airport by President de Gaulle.

It was reported that political discussions between the two leaders would be kept as brief as possible - agreements of cooperation between France and the Ivory Coast have already been signed.
