  • Description

The British printing dispute: on June 22 pickets - and police - went to a North London printing works where emergency editions of the "TV Times" were to be printed. The pickets - many of them members of NATSOPA (National Society of Operative Printers and Assistants) normally engaged in producing the "T.V. Times" at Watford. - tried to stop vans entering and leaving the works, belonging to the "Willesden Chronicle and Kilburn Times".

The "Willesden Chronicle and Kilourn Times" is an "open shop" firm, and its workmen are not affected by the dispute.

Later at a mass meeting the firm said it would not print the "T.V. Times" and the men dispersed. "T.V. Times" said, however, that they hoped to produce all the copies needed.
