    Wartime ace pilots of the Luftwaffe and Allied Service chiefs stood side by side in remembrance to pilots of all nations killed on duty at the unveiling Oct 17 of a fighter pilot's memorial at Geisenheim, near Frankfort.

    Wartime Major-General Adolf Galland, credited with shooting down 113 Allied aircraft, unveiled the monument as a squadron of the new Luftwaffe flew over in salute.

    Representatives of West German Defence Minister Franz J. Streuss, relatives in mourning clothes and colleagues of the men who did not return to base laid flowers in solemn tribute.
