    Uganda's President Amin has claimed the criticisms of British Foreign Secretary Sir Alec Douglas-Home of Uganda's takeovers of British-owned businesses, did not represent the views of the British people.

    During an interview with newsmen on Wednesday (20 December) President Amin said the takeovers of British and other Foreign-owned business were not directed at their owners, but it was only intended to transfer the economy of the country from the hands of non-citizens into the hands of Ugandans.
