  • Description

At a fashion display in Rome July 28 - enthusiastically received by the Press - couturier Antonio de Luca said that in the dome-shaped coats and suits - the "Cupola" line - and in the skirts short and straight, he had attempted to recapture the fresh and witty style of the painter Brunetta. The De Luca collection is always inspired by the work of a famous artist.

The coats had a round line and the sleeve seams were mostly hidden so that the sleeves appeared "as if by magic" from the coat. Waist-lines were slightly higher than normal and the shoulders sloped downwards. The cocktail dresses were draped and had panels in the back.

Striking, "high" hair-styles were created for the occasion by Alberto di Eve of Rome, and hats were by Cesare Canessa.
