Shows P.M. Begin speaking in Knesset, challenged from floor by Labour Party Chairman Shimon Peres when Begin says the Vienna meeting hindered rather than help peace efforts. Peres said Begin's policy was a recipe for isolation in the world. He claimed Sadat told him Egypt would accept territorial compromise.
Begin said he had no such assurance, citing a reputed quote where Sadat spoke of minor border revisions (this is where he tore a piece of paper in half to dramatise the meaning of territorial compromise).
They shouted at each other for 15 minutes. But in the middle of it Begin said that he would invite sadat back tomorrow if the invitation would be accepted, or go anywhere Sadat wanted to meet.
Good coverage & good sound
