    The Security Council of the United Nations on Friday (17 march) unanimously adopted a resolution strongly condemning the raid we earlier by Rhodesian armed forces into Zambia against guerrilla bases. It warned of possible unitive measures if There are other raids. The Council acted in response to Zambia's charge of aggression by Rhodesia. Several speakers condemned the attack. The Ghanaian representative Mr. Frank Boaten said the raid was a threat to world peace.

    The draft resolution, jointly sponsored by Bolivia, Gabon, India, Kuwait, Mauritius and Nigeria, was accepted by all 15 members of the Security Council when put to the vote. It was adopted unanimously. After conducting the voting, the President of the Council, Mr. Ivor Richard, added his condemnation to those of other speakers.
