    It was children's day at Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

    More than eight thousand children gathered at the PEI arena to welcome the Queen and Prince Philip. Her Majesty received a thunderous welcome when she arrived at the stadium.

    The children's rally had originally being planned for outdoors. However, raw weather changed the ceremony a few hours before she arrived to be held in doors.

    Green was master of ceremonies at a Royal Review performance in Charlottetown on Tuesday night. He says the Queen told him she likes to watch Bonanza on television during the week-end.

    While waiting for Royal Party, Green led the children in a sing song with the numbers "Hello Dolly and Allouette." Then cheering as Queen arrives and National Anthem and Hymn of Island sung. This a provincial national anthem.....
