    THREE HUNDRED UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WAVING BANNERS AND SHOUTING "YANKEES GO HOME" DEMONSTRATED FOR ABOUT AN HOUR YESTERDAY (MONDAY) OUTSIDE THE AMERICAN EMBASSY IN NAIROBI.

    THEY SAID THEY WERE PROTESTING AGAINST THE BOMBING OF UGANDA BORDER VILLAGES BY CONGOLESE-OWNED AMERICAN PLANES AND "AGAINST AMERICAN AGGRESSION ELSEWHERE".

    THEIR PLACARDS READ: "AWAY WITH BLOODY AMERICAN DEVILS", "AMERICA'S TSHOMBE HAS BOMBED UGANDA", "THIS IS UNITED STATES AGGRESSION IN AFRICA FORCING A THIRD WORLD WAR", AND "AMERICA UNDER JOHNSON IS WORSE THAN GERMANY UNDER HITLER".

    FOUR STUDENTS PRESENTED THE U.S.CHARGE D'AFFAIRES, MR.J.RUCHTI.WITH A MEMORANDUM OF PROTEST AND THE DEMONSTRATORS DISPERSED WITHOUT INCIDENT.MORE THAN 50 POLICE WITH BATONS WERE ON DUTY.

    (CONGOLESE OFFICIALS HAVE DENIED UGANDA GOVERNMENT CHARGES THAT CONGO AIR FORCE PLANES BOMBED TWO UGANDAN VILLAGES NEAR THE CONGO BORDER LAST SATURDAY).
